1. Definitions and Scope
In these Conditions, "Company" refers to SAFETY STORAGE MOBILE UNITS, LLC. "Customer" refers to any person or entity at whose request or on whose behalf SAFETY STORAGE MOBILE UNITS, LLC undertakes any business or provides advice, information, or services.
2. Freight & Forwarding
We're acting as a professional intermediary between the consignor and the carrier. Don't worry, we only partner with vetted transit specialists. However, it's vital to recognize that our liability is governed by the standard terms of the British International Freight Association (BIFA), unless otherwise specified in writing.
3. Payment and Billing
Invoices are due upon receipt unless a credit account has been formally established. Late payments? They're subject to local statutory interest rates. We believe in fair play, but prompt settlement keeps the wheels of global trade turning smoothly.
4. Warehousing and Storage
Our facilities are equipped with modern security, but the risk of loss or damage remains with the owner of the goods. We strongly recommend comprehensive cargo insurance. Why take the chance? We can even help you arrange coverage if your current policy is insufficient.
5. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, or significant labour strikes. In today's volatile climate, these protections are essential for business continuity.
Note for Dispatch: If you have specific questions regarding a current bill of lading or a complex transit insurance requirement, please contact our dispatch team at info@safetystoragemob.com immediately.
